Andy joined The Share Centre in 2006 as a fully-qualified financial adviser via the Chartered Insurance Institute. Andy holds the Private Client and Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM) Paper, part of the SII Diploma, and is an associate member of the Securities and Investment Institute.
As the Advice team manager, Andy manages and develops the services offered by The Share Centre’s Advice team. Part of his role is to establish and maintain close working relationships with external financial services providers such as fund managers. Andy has been instrumental in creating and managing our Funds of Funds and Platinum 120 Funds.
Andy takes a broad view of financial planning and is a regular contributor of general financial advice and articles to the media.
Graham joined The Share Centre in 2001 as an FSA-approved investment adviser. He advises on a wide range of investment services including UK equities and investment trusts.
He started his career in 1977 as a trainee dealer on the Stock Exchange trading floor. Two years later, Graham became a fully authorised dealer, a position which he held until 1986. Graham continued his career as a dealer at Chase Manhattan Bank, Svenska Bank and Midland Bank before moving to emerging-markets specialists, City of London Investment Management.
Now a respected voice in the media, Graham’s comments on the markets and share tips are frequently sought by The Financial Times, The Times and The Daily Telegraph.
Nick has over 11 years’ experience in personal finance and has been an investment adviser at The Share Centre since 2002. He has passed multiple units of the Certificate for Financial Advisers and is currently studying for the Private Client Investment Advice and Management exam, part of the Securities and Investment Institute Diploma.
Nick is regularly asked to offer his insight on a wide range of financial matters to the UK media for papers including The Times and The Daily Telegraph. He provides weekly share tips and comment to several regional newspapers, as well as finance-based websites such as MoneyExtra.com.
Elsewhere, Raynor Reviews, Nick’s fortnightly column for orange.co.uk, is recognised as an important touchstone for investors looking for concise comment on the financial markets, while his contributions to the national press and broadcast media have earned him widespread respect from the UK’s leading financial journalists.
Sheridan joined The Share Centre in 2006 as an FSA approved, well-qualified investment adviser with hands-on international business experience. He passed the Securities Institute Regulation, Securities and Investment Management papers and holds the Securities & Investment Institute (SII) Diploma.
Funds are one of Sheridan’s key focuses. In addition to share selection, he advises on fund selection including Unit Trusts and Open-Ended Investment Companies. He is also one of the joint fund managers for our Funds of Funds and helps select our Platinum 120.
His views have been sought after by a range of personal finance publications including, What Investment? magazine, Moneywise magazine and Shares magazine.
Liz joined The Share Centre’s Advice team in 2009, bringing with her over 25 years industry experience and having held a full Financial Planning Certificate since 2002.
Prior to joining The Share Centre, Liz was Ambassador Support Manager at Bank of Scotland Investment Service working with the Wealth Management team responsible for the Bank’s most valued corporate and private relationships.
Previous roles include working in sales and marketing for both the UK and International divisions of Equitable Life, leading a team of corporate account managers as well as Client Manager for Bank of Scotland Investment Service, and Office Operations Manager for Chase de Vere Investments.
