Membership of professional bodies

As one of the UK’s leading retail stockbrokers The Share Centre plays an active role in the financial services industry and is a member of a number of professional bodies.

London Stock Exchange

The London Stock Exchange is at the heart of the global financial market and is home to some of the largest, most successful and dynamic companies in the world.

The exchange has built on a long history of integrity, expertise and market knowledge to become the world's most international stock exchange with around 3,000 companies from over 70 countries admitted to trading on its markets.

Association of Private Client Investment Managers and Stockbrokers (APCIMS)

APCIMS is a trade association representing 217 wealth management and broking firms who, at more than 500 sites across the UK and Ireland, provide a range of services to private investors.

Tax Incentivised Savings Association (TISA)

TISA is the premier trade association in the UK retail savings and investment industry. By engaging with member firms, government, political parties, regulators and consumer groups TISA’s goal is to further consumers’ best interests.

It seeks to improve the range, features and quality of savings and investment schemes available, while at the same time encouraging people to save for their financial security and peace of mind.

Personal Finance Education Group (pfeg)

pfeg is an independent charity helping schools to plan and teach personal finance relevant to students' lives and needs. Its mission is to ensure that all young people leaving school have the confidence, skills and knowledge in financial matters to participate fully in society.

pfeg provides free support, resources and expert consultancy to teachers and school leadership teams and also works with government, opinion formers and key bodies with the aim of influencing education policy.

London Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The London Chamber of Commerce & Industry was established on 25 July 1881 to meet the needs of London businesses. It was founded at Mansion House in the City of London with 130 members, many of whom still play a part in the London Chamber today.

International trade activities also play a key role, in particular the services provided by the Chamber's Export Documents, Customs and Trade Procedures and World Trade Teams.

Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation (CSFI)

The CSFI is an independent think tank based in London. It was formed in early 1993 to stimulate research into the future of the financial services industry, and to provide a neutral meeting ground for financial practitioners to share ideas.
