Examples of real-time dealing charges

Dealing charges are taken as part of each deal (or transaction). If, for example, you wish to buy shares in four companies; there will be four deals, and each deal will have its own dealing charges.

Examples without the Frequent Dealing option

The following shows dealing charges only. Remember, your Share Account costs £2.50 + VAT per quarter Administration fee.

If you buy 500 shares of company A at £1.00, your costs for this deal would be:

Cost of the shares	£500
Dealing commission (1%, or minimum charge of £7.50)	£7.50
Stamp Duty (0.5%)	£2.50
Total cost	£510

If you buy 2,000 shares in company B at £1.00, your costs for this deal would be:

Cost of the shares	£2,000
Dealing commission (1%, or minimum charge of £7.50)	£20
Stamp Duty (0.5%)	£10

If you buy 10,000 shares of company C at £1.00, your costs for this deal would be:

Examples with the Frequent Dealing option

Remember, your Share Account costs £2.50 + VAT per quarter Administration fee, and the Frequent Dealing option costs an additional £20.00 + VAT per quarter.

If you buy 2,000 shares of company B at £1.00, your costs for this deal would be:

Dealing commission (£7.50 fixed charge with Frequent Dealing option)	£7.50
Stamp Duty (0.5%)	£10
Total cost	£2,017.50

If you buy 10,000 shares of company C at £1.00, your costs for this deal would be:
